New Sky Media is a leading media production agency based in Hobart, Tasmania. We've worked with many businesses to create their identity and build brands that stay strong in their target market. We work with our clients to strengthen their brand in print, on the web, on screen (video) and in sound (audio).

New Sky Media is operated by Mark Howell Pty Ltd - a company that has been working in media production since 2000. Our Creative Director, Mark Howell, studied Technology at University of Tasmania (1997) - concentrated on graphic design & technology using a large range of different media. Mark's focus was on using evolving media (at the time) such as the internet, interactive multimedia, and video production for educational purposes. Following University, Mark worked at the Tasmanian Open Learning Service (TOLS) assisting staff with production and the delivery of content for distance education students. Projects included the production of CD-ROMs, websites, e-learning projects, interactive videos and audiovisual training programs.

New Sky Media now has an elite group of creative professionals who specialise in website development, graphic design, video production, audio production and photography. Ben Sullivan is our talented artist who won the 2007 Art Production Award for Hobart College and has completed his Certificate IV in Graphic Design. Thomas Williams is our Audio Production guru and has completed a Certificate III in Music Industry Technical Production. Reece Hickey is our Accounts Manager and has completed a certificate IV in Business and is an MYOB expert.

A big part of our work is in the development of innovative websites that have many different functions. With the Internet rapidly becoming a standard part of every day life, businesses need a strong presence online to be competitive and assert their position in their target markets. Our websites take full advantage of the marketing and sales opportunity offered by the internet with some of our more recent websites boasting features such as full e-commerce capabilities, content management systems and interactive video. We also work in print media and have created magazines, newspaper advertising, annual reports, posters, business stationery and interactive PDFs. Our audio projects have included the creation of podcasts, streaming audio programs, video soundtracks and custom made CDs. We've also created video podcasts, DVDs, training videos and online video presentations.

Our clients represent many small to medium enterprises both in Tasmania and interstate. We've had the opportunity to create some of the strongest brand identities - particularly in the Hobart market.
